No, that would be a waste of time. However they would be checking for actual intel - paperwork, maps laptops etc.

It's not like they've run out of terrorists to shoot that they have to make every potential kill a crime scene and take DNA from all surfaces.

I think sometimes part of Damage Assessment is a ground recon. If the guys on the ground find a grease spot that used to be a human being, I think they would take a DNA sample back for comparision.
