I met some triplets and I remarked that fertility drugs were around during the late 60s and they could have been chemically induced. This kinda t'd one of them off and she said she researched it and fertility drugs werent around when they were born. I could've sworn I read somewhere that they were here during the late 60s when there was all that drug experimentation going on. Help!!! Must. Be. Right......

  1. A few things to support the claim...

    1) Triplets are very unlikely without medical involvement, much easier to win the lottery...

    2) Clomid a very common fertility drug entered trials in the 1960's and is still used today

    3) (Just one medical facility) History of Fertility Care at Penn (University of Penn)

Penn doctors established the first coordinated infertility program in the Delaware Valley nearly four decades ago. It was recognized that obstetrics and gynecology, which traditionally includes the treatment of female infertility, also involves several sub specialties.

It is likely that the triplets of which you speak were medically induced, however, it is possible that they were not , only the mother will really ever know.

I have attached a time line of the history of fertility in the world.  Hope this helps.
