Me too .... did not come across any till 2day in Kolkata.

I ply the buses to and fro, this area to that too far area in Kolkata as a resident ... but have not seen any.

Perhaps the city has women conductors employed ... might be some in Salt Lake or elsewhere. It was the year 1988 onwards. Have not seen myself.

Heard of a women Taxi driver in Howrah.

Want to salute them ... when I meet ...!!

Not only conductors, our females are driving the buses, very good, in India, please salute them.

I think since 1988 or so.

I have seen two such girls/ladies. One in a CTC bus and other in a private bus in EM Bye Pass.
