When will 2br/2ba homes become easier to find?

This is actually a pretty common configuration for condos here in the northeast.  It may not be so common among stand-alone housing though.

Housing trends nationwide have in the past been for bigger and better, forget more affordable. Now they are moving towards moderation. Previously no one thought badly of a 3bd 1 ba house. Now it will sit on the market for months because it doesn't have a second bathroom. Hopefully wherever you live will go through the flipper boom and you will have more of what you need on the market.

I have a 44 year old 2 bed / 2 bath home; they are easy to find where i live; depends on where you live i guess; but builders pay attention to demographics and more and more boomers are buying homes, and don't want the extra bedrooms ... so guests don't stay more than a day or so.

i would look for a trailor cheaper then a house but you can get as many rooms and baths as you need
