  1. He'a a couple of hundred short. Give him about 5 to 6 years. I say in 2013 bor 2014. I'll be happy when he does, just so Bonds doesn't have the record anymore.

  2. at this rate, yes he will eventually. Some people said he could end up with over like 800 or something.

  3. Well... maybe.... I mean, he is the youngest to reach his milestone, but anything can happen. Career-ending injuries are very possible.

  4. Well the way he's going lately with all of that gossip about " Madonna" who know's.But for sure hes young and has a good chance plus if he maintains healthy of course he has a legit chance.

  5. I doubt he ever will

  6. I wouldn't say he will, it's not a guaranteed thing.  Injuries can really hurt a players career.  Look at Griffey, before leaving Seattle I think a lot of people thought this guy would break the home run record, but he lost 3 seasons in Cincinnati.  Arod has a very good chance and he's on pace to do it if he plays long enough.  I say if he stays healthy he does it in the next 7-8 years.  I really want to see him do it as well.  I think he deserves it and I don't think Bonds does deserve it.

  7. i dont think he will

  8. never

  9. 8-10 years

  10. Well if healthy  he will break it in less than 10 years

  11. I think he will break it 2013 if he stays healthy. I think he can even break 850 before his career is over.

  12. At least 6 years for MLB, for that Japanese guy, 9 years at least.

  13. well if he hits at least 50 home runs a year he should beat it in about 4 to 5 years

  14. If he does it, it'll be another 10 years from now. You have to consider that most players lose bat speed as they age, and thus lose the corresponding amount of power. If he can stay healthy (which imo is the hardest thing to do), I don't see why he can't chip his way to the all-time record when he's 43 or 44.

  15. It may or may not happen.  Everyone just assumes that just because his HR total is pretty close to the record and that makes him the favorite, but now, HR's are very difficult to come by because trends are changing and pitchers may decide to intentionally walk him just because he's a dangerous hitter.  It never fails.....  If pitchers decide to pitch to and continually challenge him, he'll have a chance, as long as he stays healthy for 5-6 seasons.

  16. i think he will if he stays healthy
