When will Anderson Silva fight again?

I see GSP will fight agaain in August and he just fought not to long ago.

In the post fight after the Silva vs Henderson match up; Dana stated that Okami has earned the right for a title shot. Dana has pretty much hinted that the next people to take Anderson on is Okami, then Bisping, and Wanderlei Silva if he can get him to drop down to MW. All three would be a good fight but could you imagine a Silva vs Silva match-up. That would be a dream match-up. Since June through August PPV are pretty much decided... I think Anderson will be the main event in either September or October.

Silva recently had surgery, the circumstances of which he will not say. So nobody really knows the severity or duration he will be out of the ring.

Prior to the surgery Silva was dragging his feet on signing a fight because its no secret who he really wants... He wants to fight boxer Roy Jones Jr who a year ago was running his mouth off about how MMA is guys who cant box.

Dana White is not putting forth an effort to get the fight so chances are it never happens. As an undisputed champion who has done nothing but dominate, Anderson is in the driver seat as far as picking his own fights so I doubt we will see one until it is top billing.

Late october at the soonest is my guess.

Silva will fight when someone else steps up and is able to challenge him, right now the second best guy has already been destroyed twice by Silva and that Rich Franklin, I know that Nate Marquardt wants a rematch but he is a few fights away from getting one.

I searched all over the internet and could not find anything to verify Anderson Silva needing or getting surgery. He had knee surgery before the Travis Lutter fight however. Anderson Silva will most likely fight again when there is someone that is able to challenge  him.  Anderson Silva might also be pissed about making so little for winning championship fights just as Randy Couture was. He made less winning the main event then Andrei Arlovski  did for winning a preliminary fight. Just my thoughts
