Deron falls into the "no good without Boozer" category.

Props to Nash,though.

  1. No he hasn't yet!! He had ONE tremendously amazing MVP season last year but it was ONE......people who just look at the here and now and don't really follow the NBA say CP3 is already the best cause of this season. But he will have to repeat what he did this season at least once or twice more to be considered better than Steve honestly. Steve has had better seasons then what CP3 did and has accomplished so much more. He had an off season last season cause of the moves (SHAQ) and an injury (most didn't know about cause he kept it under raps).

Edit: Sorry man I just think Steve Nash doesn't get the credit he deserves and CP does something good and everyone is so ready to throw him up there as the best and ditch Nash like he's not the 2x MVP best point guard. Ya know!! Sorry though

  2. What up Haloengel,

i think this year will be very telling.  The top 3 point guards in the league are:

    Paul, Williams, and Nash.

This year will be very telling:

Is Nash really a product of his system???  We saw him "drop" a little bit last year- without Shawn Marion- and we'll find out if Nash is more a product of his system or if he truly is a "MVP"...

Williams really shined towards the end of the year- and was especially awesome in the playoffs.  It's quite arguable that last year- that Williams was the closest threat to Paul (not Nash).

So i think this year- well be quite telling.

  3. CP3 is already a much better player than Steve Nash!!

You put CP3 on the Suns and they will go to the west finals.

You put Nash on the Hornets and they would be lucky to get out of the first round.

  4. no not yet

Steve Nash 10+ assist for like 4 years...

Chris Paul only 1, the main thing for him right now is whether he can do it every season

  5. Deron Williams > CP3.

  6. He did last season

  7. The guy he has to snatch it from is Deron Williams.

  8. Deron Williams owns Chris Paul. Deron is the #1 PG, not Nash or CP3. For the 2007-08 season, look at all the Hornets vs. Jazz games, look at the box score, and see how Deron dismantled Chris Paul.

  9. he did that last season

him and Deron is the top 2 PG now

  10. he did that already

  11. already did

  12. He already did man

  13. maybe another 1-2 years.

  14. He already snatched it. If I'm not mistaken.

  15. No, Steve Nash is still number one.

Nash is the much better passer and can make his teammates so much better.

Ill give Chris Paul maybe 3-4 years and he will be number 1 PG in the NBA.

  16. -If he has the same type of season as last year, no doubt he will be "officially" the best PG in the league.

-Don't forget he played well on both sides of the court, he also made the  ALL-Defensive 2nd team

  17. I would say after the first 25 games of last season.  I rank Paul 1a and Williams 1b.  As for "no good without Boozer", did you watch the second half of last season and the playoffs (not to mention the Olympics)?  Williams carried the Jazz late last season and in the playoffs.  Boozer looked tired and out of sync.  Williams may not be top ten of all players (though I thnk you could make the case for him), but he is certainly top 3 at point (and I say top two).  All that said, I give Paul the nod by a hair.  I rank Nash right behind them.  He can't shoulder the minutes they can.  Skill-wise he's still got it though.
