This just came to me, when will our "great president" Hosny Mubarak gett his @$$ of the "throne". When Egypt got only one bronze medal in the olympics, and many other countries got over 15 gold medals, it got me thinking, this is all because of Hosni Mubarak. He is the one

who turned Egypt into a ruined country thrid world country that is ruled by dictatorship. Oh how I wish Gamal Abdel Nasser was the president, Egypt wouldn've been like China or India by now. I know this might soung weird, but the day a revolution starts in Egypt, It will be one of the happiest days of my life.

What's your opinion on this?

  1. Egypt will change when the Egyptian mentality change, and when all of us will work more than talk.

  2. Zoser's answer is PERFECT, i can't add a word after what he said

    BUT

i will comment on the answer of Jabeer ....

    @ Jabeer :

Your answer is divided into two parts, the upper part & lower part. OK?

I agree with the upper part (( The people must change their behavoir to make the country better ))

    I DON'T agree with the lower part (( 300-500 years to make it a 1st world country )) ..... NO, why ??

Because of very simple reason .. do you know about what happened after WW2 (( World War 2 )) ??

When WW2 ended, many countries were destroyed in :

Europe (( specially England, France & Germany )) due to war

South East Asia (( specially Japan )) due to the Atomic Bomb

NOW - after about 60 years - .... these countries in Europe & South East Asia are a 1st world countries

So its NOT about how many years it will take to rebuilt a country ...

Its all about : are the people ready to rebuilt a country ??

    Thanks for your patience

  3. Egypt is corrupted because it's people not it's government cuz the government is a part of the people, it's own reflection in the mirror so we should wonder when we will change? specially religions took us to worse.

i believe it will take at least 300-500 years to be a great nation again, may be more who knows.

  4. ZOSER, I RESPECT YOU,

  5. i don't think the government has anything to do with medals in the Olympics say didn't you win the African Cup in Football??

i didn't know that there is a dictator but at least tourism is up in your country

  6. So whats the relation between Hosni Mubarak and our medals in Beijing ? !

will he go after them and cuddle them to act as real men even for once during their lifetime ?!!!!

he promised to give millions to the winners !!! what more ?! if u got a promise to get 100,000 l.e. if u destroy a piece of steel with ur hands , you will do it !!!!!!!!

    i think you r kidding !

Egypt will never ever be a good place to live in , not because of its government but because of its citizens and people

( can u notice this FARMER who found himself in some kind of position to harm other people , he just forgot that he was NOTHING a few months before ) .

i'll give u an example : Government made a new law for traffic , nowadays, people r negative enough to tell the taxi-driver to turn the fare on !!!

what will the government do to you ? hire a cop to go with u in any taxi u take ? LoOl

  7. I agree with you that the leaders can turn a country into a rotting place, but a lot of the responsibility for change is on the people. Many times the people just accept things and become passive.  Its up to the people to change things in their country, whether by revolution or starting with their towns and neighborhoods and trying to improve conditions. You're upset that egypt got only one bronze medal but you forget that several months ago there were thousands of people in your country who were starving  because of the increasing prices that they couldnt afford bread! Set your priorities straight. If everyone did that you'd see a lot of change I guarantee it.

  8. it won't !

  9. i agree with Zoser, i was gonna say the same thing...when ppl stop whining and start actually "thinkin" with their minds, egypt will change.

  10. Egypt wont ever change , unless the change came from the people themselves.. and the people wont ever change unless they find a motive to encourage them to go for something different.

Currently the people just don't care.

  11. Dear Friend,

This answer is very neutral,You/ you all and  me, may do not like it but we have to accept the truth:

    1) Hosni Mobarak did not turn Egypt to  be a third world country, It was third world country when/since  they invented this term in August, 1952,, and it was to describe  countries currently called either "developing" or "under-developed", especially in Latin America, Africa, Oceania, and Asia, that were unaligned with either the Communist Soviet bloc or the Capitalist NATO bloc during the Cold War ,,

    2) We got one only bronze medal not because of  Hosni Mobarak but because  of (khabatna=our failure),,what is the relation between him or his system /and how people try their best or not, Lots of other dictatorship countries got many Gold medals, why?

    3) Egypt is really better than China, and India in term of GDP/c ,, (the term is  to describe -in a way- how wealthy the individuals are)  Yes do not be surprised :  in a different word:  Egyptian individuals are wealthier than Chinese or Indian ones,, and Figures do not lie   ( I can put them if you want),It is true that china, and India have both bigger GDP(total wealth as a country) than Egypt,, but you can not compare , as they have more than 20 times population numbers/area  than Egypt , (have you been there , I hv been to India, you do not want to know how they live!!!!!), so it is logic

    4) As I lived Gamal Abdel Nasr days, he was the one who started ,the dictator ship , and started to grab Egypt to be ruined, simply , because we feel the effect of any time's period/era  not immediately but at least 10 years after it started:

    example:

The Progress in Egypt at Nasr period, was a result of the time of the royal family  before him, all the cultural /social/or economic projects done during this era started ,with the Egyptian royal family,,and were felt in Nasr era,

Now the 6 October war was a result of Nasr, not Sadat, simply because you can not repair and train the army in just 2 years, it was a direct result of Nasr's reforms in the army.,, Got me??

As I said I am so neutral in the answer, I do not defend anyone or attack anyone, But to be honest , -as an old man- since I started to understand, I always heard that we are living in our worst days (since Nasr era),, Simply because we - the Egyptians- do not work, and do not want to work, and do not like to work,,You can add , that we the Egyptians , do not really give a sh*t /do any effort to study, know nor progress, do not want to study, know, nor progress and do not like to study,, know, nor progress..lol,, Actually I can say , that we the Egyptians, do not want even other Egyptians to work, know nor progress, I always thought that most of the Egyptians are starting the days, while going to their works, not with  a plan/intention  to work, but with a plan/intention  to ruin the days and frustrate  other Egyptians (yankadoh 3la gerhom),,and make them lose time , money or temper,, If we are so crashed , why we crash others among us, it is not Hosny Mobarak, not Sadat, nor Naser, it is the simple Egyptian citizen who works only to annoy/ruin/destroy  any other Egyptian -who by luck - under his authority ,or share with him the same road while driving  (or living)..

..Even abroad- especially in the Gulf - the Egyptians enjoy to ruin  other Egyptians -whom have the chance to  progress or make money and better life/or deprive their natives the chance to do that .. the stories are 1000's -just ask any..

..One person, or 1000 persons ,cannot make a difference in  83.300 million lives , but actually the 83 millions can make that difference,, If the 83 million Egyptians are ruined because only 1000 individuals,, that is another prove that is , because of (Khybat-hom)

    Thank you all

    -------

Now, I want to mention something ,would seem strange to others but as I said - I am an oldie- the revolution started in Egypt funded and encouraged by the USA to take the British/French influence and replace that with them.Nasr switched his orientation to the Russians and adapted a socialism/communism current which- to lots surprise- is closer to Islam than the capitalism,  (takafol al nas),,All the disasters nowadays -worldwide -is because of the one pole evil capitalism..What made us so frustrated, (and hang our Khabah=Failiare, on someone else than ourselves) is the Capitalism,, simply because most of us can not match it (and that even with normal people abroad),, So if you want to wish something, do not wish the days of the revolution,, but wish to the days of the balance,,and the end of that evil .. (I am not communist/nor capitalist)

  12. It wont change in our lifetime. Stop blaming the president and the government for our shortcomings. It is the people's attitudes and mentality that needs to change and honestly, I cannot see that happening anytime soon.

  13. Hosny Mubarak, makes me sick, just thinking about how bad he treats his country.................trashh trashhh trashhhhh
