  8. Hey Bingalee, finally you can get a proper answer lol

Last September in the 2007 T20 World Cup, Flintoff injured his ankle playing for England against Australia, even though Flintoff was in clear dis-comfort, England still played him for the next 2 or 3 matches making his injury severely worse!!. Flintoff then had surgery on his troublesome ankle later on that year. Flintoff had 2 or 3 months rehibiliataion, which all went well, he started the county championship season with Lancashire near his full-fitness, he took a few wickets for Lanacshire too!!

BUT with 4 or 5 days to go to the 1st test match Flintoff severly injured his side, bowling for Lancashire against Scotland, as soon as this happened it was said that Flintoff was out for 3 weeks (so he only missed the first 2 test matches vs NZ), BUT earlier this week, it has now been stated that Flintoff will be out for another 3 to 4 weeks meaning that he will miss the whole series vs NZ!!.

Flintoff will be hoping to return to county cricket for Lancashire take some wickets (hopefully score some runs) and then when South Africa touch down here, to tour in late July, Flintoff should be in full fitness to play South Africa!!.

So it will be about 3 more weeks before he plays for Lancashire, but unfortunately almost 2 months before we see him play for England again.

  9. Hopefully he will be back................. soon........................

Missing the "world's best all rounder"

  10. i m also eagerly waiting for him, he is really a great player.

  11. Flintoff returned for Lancashire at the star tof the season, and was bowling very well, in tandem with James Anderson.

Unfortunately, he has suffered another injury setback, this time a side strain.

He had been pencilled in to play in the First Test against New Zealand. Following this new injury, he may not be fit until the series against South Africa.

He is not putting too much pressure on himself this time, and will not be rushing back into action until he has completed his rehabilitation.

Don't worry, Freddy will be fit in time to take on the Aussies!

  12. he wont play the odi series  bt maybe after that
