When will I get paid?

Question

I recently handed my notice in & end my job on 31st August.

I get paid on 27th of the month.

Will I get paid for the 28th, 29th, 30th & 31st August in my next wages or get another wage in Sept?

depends on how you get paid, in arrears or in hand. and when your payroll closes i suspect arrears in which case you will be paid as normal on the 27th but your payroll probably closed on something like the 20th in which case you may be paid up to date or the may pay you the balance in sept talk to payroll and ask them what format they follow. not meaning to sound nasty but you should know this, its your money your talking about. an old saying a fool and his money are easy parted

All companies are different but usually, even though your pay date is the 27th of the month, you are in fact being paid for that CALENDAR month, so on 27 August you will be paid for 1-31 August.

So since you're leaving on the last day of the month anyway, this will be your final pay and there will be nothing additional to come later.  You should also be paid for any holidays which you accrued but didn't yet take.

You should get paid as normal on the 27th. When you leave on the 31st you should then get 4 days wages. That is the conventional way of doing it.
