When will I get the ability of regeneration to any part of my body?

For example, teeth, amputated limb, dermis, fragmentary visceras, broken crucial nerves, eyes, nose, ears, etc. etc.

It'd be better that the process of regeneration has an incredible speed, say within 12 hours.

  1. You already have such an ability.

You skin is constantly regenerated, on a daily basis.

You blood is regenerated. Some doctors say about every 3-4 weeks.

In fact, scientists say that EVERY CELL in your body dies at some time or another, and is eventually replaced by a new, identical cell.  Cells like skin and blood happen very fast, but cells like bone are very slow.  Scientiest "guess" that it takes about seven (7) years for an adult body to completely replace itself.

So you are physically NOT the "same person" that you were seven yeas ago!  You look the same and think the same, but ALL of the cells in your body have been replaced with regenerated duplicates.

However, this ability slowly shuts down as you get older.  in old age the process stops, and when enough cells die, you die too.

The mechansim that controls all this is unknown.  Some scientists think it has something to do with your DNA, and that the replication mechanisms in DNA are responsible,  But so far they haven't found these mechanisms, and certainly cannot control them.

So organ or limb regeneration is a LONG way off, and the 'cure' for death is probably impossible.

  2. After the religious fanatics stop getting in the way of stem cell research and other sciences.

  3. You'll never be able to but in future genration if evolution always it, it will be possible.
