When will I start seeing results???

I started cutting back my caloric intake and exercising (3miles a day)... When will I see results?

  1. Definitely a very loaded question. Doing an extra 3 miles per day could vary if you are walking as compared to say swimming or sprinting. If this extra exercise also causes hunger, you may eat more than you did before. Because your hardest critic is always yourself, you probably will not notice the results you want for at least a month, even though you will be losing weight. Do not get discouraged and do not give up. Take photos of yourself on a weekly basis using a tripod in the same position to eliminate shadow/stance differences. Eating a better diet and DRINKING LOTS OF WATER will help. A website I've found that shows progress on many different scales is John Stone Fitness. He has daily, weekly, and monthly pictures for his first year or so of training. Just remember, YOU CAN DO IT!


  2. thats pretty good. you should loose 2-3 lbs a week if you are keeping your cals around 2000 a day
