  1. Crede apparently is feeling better and will start his rehab again.  Could take 1 month for him to come back.  Im sure he'll be back before the end of the season.

  2. Joe Crede is not scheduled for another month and then rehab. Maybe he should take the rest of the season off and heal.  Looks like they are doing fine without him

  3. Playoffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I've heard he's going to start rehab soon.

I think there's going to be alot of pressure for him to fast track his rehab and come back by early September. He was out almost all of last year with back problems. If he's out a long time again then his value is will decrease not only with the Sox but also with other teams.

Crede has shown that when healthy he can produce, but he needs to show he can stay healthy. Teams are already worried about his back and if he stays out the rest of the season it may hurt him career wise (at least in the short term).

Plus, the Sox need his bat in the line up. Unless, it's a 100% medical certainty that he can't play, there's going to be tons of pressure for him to rehab and get back to the team.

So, whether it's good for him or not, I think he's going to relaly push his rehab and try and get back by the beginning of September. He knows that he's playing for his next contract right now and he needs to be on the field to show people he's OK.

Unfortunatey (I guess), baseball is a business. With both the Cubs and the Sox doing so well this year, there's going to be tons of pressure on the players from both teams to keep up the pace. Even if they're not 100%, players on both teams are going to be expected to be on the field to help their teams get into the playoffs and beyond anyway they can.
