sr told junior not to try to race the way he did. the intimidator factor cannot be used in nascar anymore. if senior had to run in the cup series as it is today, he wouldn't be a factor. now its all about communication with your crew, and saving your car till it can be adjusted. i really miss the good old days.

I think Jr is mature enough to know that he will never be as good as his dad.  Here come the thumbs down - Jr is just a very mediocre driver with the best equipment & team available in Nascar which is making him look a lot better than he really is.  Again, I'll say it, but if Kyle Busch or even Carl Edwards was driving the 88 car this year, they would have already won a race or two.  Sorry "JunYa" fans.

Dale Jr has said many times he does not want to be compared to his dad. His dad raced in a different time and era.. Dale Jr is a good driver, I doubt he will ever have as many championships and win as many races as his dad..Let Dale Jr be his own person, let him make his own stats and history in Nascar.. I was a fan of his dad and I was a fan of Dale Jr before Sr passed.. I'm sure once he starts winning he'll probably have 40-50 wins before he retires, he is only 33.
