When will Kumar Sangakkara become the captain of Sri Lanka?

He has been doing very well & very consistent.SL is good under Mahela but could be better under Sangakkara.

When can he get that job?

Can he be better than Mahela?

Possible when Mahela starting to fail as a captain (hope not).. Kumar is a very intelligent Cricketer & smart person.. he might be a Good captain.. But still too early... he need more experience.. I think he'll be the best choice after Mahela..

He can never be better captain than Mahela. Lets face it

A Good Batsman is not necessarily a Good Captain. Prime example would be Sachin. Although It will be interesting to see How Sangakara will perform in the absence of Mahela.

I haven't really seen Sangakarra led the team, has he done it yet?  Much as I like him batting and wicket keeping, maybe he wont be a good captain just like pietersen...  but it' would be good if he can have a go, quesiton is does he have a desire to do it? otherwise let him be in current position.

Mahela is doing very well as captain and kumar is playing outstanding cricket. Let it be like that.

Since Mahala Jayawardene is doing reasonably well as Ca[ptain and as both Sangakkara and Jawardene are more or less of same age group, I do not think Kumar Sangakkara can become regular Captain of Sri Lankan Cricket Team.

he will never become captain.jaya is doin good.only in his absence he may take over for short period..he is playing good.they wont give more pressure to him..
