  1. Never, he wasn't a stand out TE he was average if he put up better numbers then he probably would have a good chance in getting in.

  2. He is a long shot getting into the HOF. Brent Jones will probably be inducted before Mark Bavaro.

  3. More then likely it will take awhile before Bavaro gets in... he has a few good things going for him though. He played on some solid Giants teams where he contributed alot. He also played for a New York team and that gets considered alot in voting. Especially since a large portion of HOF voters are from the New York area. He has 2 super bowl rings and contributed greatly in getting those rings as a great blocker and clutch player when they needed him.

It took Harry Carson a while to get in and he can be considered a better played tehn Bavaro. But I think you will see Bavaro enshrined in the next couple of years. Expect him to go in before Strahan.

  4. He will get into the Hall of Fame, but he will have to pay the ticket price.  I don't think that the HOF will keep him out, they just won't induct him.  He will be as welcome as any person that wants to see displays on all of the league's best players.

  5. he did play for a major city team, but i would think he doesn't get in,i would say the next guy from new york to get in will be joe klecko, even though it is the jets i would say he will get in before bravaro

  6. He was really good for about 2 1/2 seasons. Then okay for the rest of his somewhat short career. Kind of like Terelle Davis. That's just not enough for HOF
