When will Michael Phelps be making his "late night talk show" circuit?

I'm guessing NBC will have the first chance, but are they going to wait till after the closing ceremonies of the Olympics? NBC has prime-time coverage of the games during Jay Leno's time slot.

Michael Phelps will be taking some time off to just relax after returning home from the Olympics. He will also be moving from Anne Arbor to Baltimore.

He was on the Jay Leno show shortly after the 2004 Athens Olympics but his manager hasn't set up any dates for him yet.

Expect to see him before the middle of September though.
