When will Nature/Mother Nature take its ultimate revenge/hubris against the human race/human beings ?

Everyone perhaps can guess how powerful mother nature is and can be and that she can destroy us..just as she nurtures us.

Human beings a) take revenge on humans (and do a lot of other evil activities...lets not discuss about them here) b) harm/kill animals (who do not have the power &/or intelligence to hit back) & c) also have the audacity of harming/polluting the environment ....which can be said as harming nature. Why do human beings however powerful or intelligent forget that Nature is far far more powerful than all the human race combined ? Human beings have appeared on this planet earth some thousands of years ago and have multiplied and come to what we are today. Yes, we are the most powerful and intelligent beings but who gives us the (d**n) Right to do as we please....can anyone please reply/suggest ? I have great respect for Science but sometimes even science (or scientists) invent things which go against nature.

This planet is not ours alone...is it ?

MOther nature is already taking its course on destroying the human race. Everytime we litter or dump garbage in a ocean. The core in the earth is rotting and fish are dying. No one really notice this but Humans are detroying are own existance.

despite a number of people that care about the planet and do what they can to protect animals, the general mentality of man is that we are gods on this planet and can dominate everything else as we see fit. most people think this species is something special or precious.

this is why millions or billions of animals can be wiped out simply for being a "nuisance" but one single human death is a tragedy to end all tragedies.

People generally think that they are in control. and whatever nature does will be overcome. though the people that think that are dead wrong. Just look at the Tsunami in indonesia that killed over 500 thousand people like nothing

You are over anthropomorphizing. "Mother Nature" is just a poetic way to talk about the sum total of natural processes. Nature has no consciousness with which to contemplate revenge. Only people do that. I bet you are doing that yourself right now. Going to go out and torch an SUV tonight?
