When will Tony Stewart announce his 2nd driver for Stewart Haas Racing in 2009??

Just wondering because from what I hear its between JJ Yeley and maybe Ryan Newman. Reports are JJ is the front runner and him and Tony are trying to smooth out the $$$ and years.. this would be a great fit since they are such good friends and have worked well together in their venture into USAC and WoO racing. So do you think JJ would make a good fit for a teammate with Tony? I think it would be splendid!

  1. where are you getting this bullshit Ryan Newman is the front runner not J.J.. Theres no way he will pickup J.J. up. He cant even qualify him self into a race. THIS IS NOT TRUE


  2. He'll announce it when ever the **** he feels like why does every body ask the same d**n question if you wanted to no just go read the answers that  people put for the other questions.

  3. Nothing is official yet but rumors have been circulating that Ryan Newman will have the ride with Jack Daniels as his sponsor. The announcement will come the weekend of the Allstate 400 @ The Brickyard.

  4. I heard last night that Ryan Newman might be joining Tony. I also heard that Navy won't by Jrs sponsor for his Nationwide Series Car. Guess we'll have to wait and see

  6. JJ is not going anywere, if you want to see him go to your local Wal-Mart and he'll be the one in the front entry way with the pizza box lid that says will work for food.

    He will have a hard time finding a ride, he is just not NASCAR material. Sorry to bust your bubble, but it just isn't for him. Go to idunno's question, he should have some Kleenex for you there.

  7. Ryan Newman deserves the ride. He's a great driver, but Penske's not providing him with the best equipment.

  10. I am sure that it's not JJ Yeley. I think it will be Ryan Newman and they will announce it when the get the contracts together.
