When will UPS deliver my package? I'm a bit confused.?

Hi, I ordered a violin from La Puente to arrive in Simi Valley. There's a 60 mile or so distance between them, and they are both in California. I ordered the violin on Dec.30th, and it's January 2th, however, there's no further shipment status other than Billing Information Received. What's going on? When should I expect to receive my package? Would UPS bother updating the status considering the locality? It's not like it's arrive at different hubs across the nation.

If it says billing info received, and nothing else, it is possible the package  is enroute, but the posting of the package's progress  isn't update fast as in the past.

same thing with me i ordered something on the 29th and only got the message that it had shipped on the 31st, i had 2nd say shipping and its only supposed to get here today, you package hasn't been sent unless you get a tracking number and it tells you its been shipped.

there was no UPS Ground service Monday or Tuesday, therefore it should be out for delivery tomorrow
