I know they are limited because they have to play all of their conference games but they could schedule someone harder than a Virginia team who lost their stars from last year and an Ohio St. team who has gotten crushed the last two years in the National Championship. Now for USC fans I'm not saying that they aren't good no I'm not saying that at all I'm just saying for the people who always say USC is overated I think they should schedule some tougher teams

  1. USC doesn't have a lot of flexibility when it comes to scheduling OOC opponents, since the PAC-10 is the only conference outside of the Big East to play every opponent in their conference.  This year they play at Virginia on August 30, which should be a win.  The 2nd game against Ohio State should be very interesting, albeit the game is at home, and they should win, but I qualify Ohio St as a tough opponent.  The final OOC game vs Notre Dame is also at home and they should win it.  USC is clearly the favorite to win the PAC-10.  Arizona St and Oregon will be their toughest comp in the PAC 10 (but both of those games are as home as well).  But clearly USC's road to the National Championship is much easier than preseason #1 Georgia.

  2. Ohio State would fit that description.  So what if they lost in the NC game.  They have been to 3 of them in the last 7 or so years.  In my opinion it benefits both teams since everybody says neither will play anyone.  They both play in weak conferences.

  3. .......ok, the reason i don't write a question like the one you have written is b/c of the expression 'foot-in-mouth'. exactly what is your defense if virginia or ohio state upsets usc? however, i guess that's just the mixture of a humbled/pissed off attitude of an ohio state fan like myself, who expected ohio state to beat florida handily in the championship game a few years back.

  4. they would lose all their recruits as the pretty cali boys would never sign for a team set to face a large test

  5. people say that they are overrated because they have been ranked #1 in the last 10 preseason polls and people are getting anoyed of it

  6. let me start by saying i am a wvu fan, usc does not do that bad ohio state has lost 2 national championship games true but then again they were good enough to get there, usc cant help notre dame ,a traditional power, sucks right now and virginia aint that bad schedules are made up years in advance so teams do the best they can

  7. They do schedule tough teams, and the fact the OSU has gone further than USC the past 2 years is perfect example, plus its not your need for tougher teams but getting over the "fog" in Oregon State and beating Stanford hahaha.
