  1. Yahoo! Answers has little to do with your Y!360 personal profile pic module, besides being a service where you can display an image you post in that module. Sometimes the Y/A system is really slow in recognizing changes in 360 images on their site and they may do something to fix that issue, but that's about it.

Some people can't post any images, so consider yourself fortunate. You may still find people with 4 pics in the module though.

I recommend that you leave the module completely alone because it can cause other serious problems on your page like it making your Top Page very long - which may or may not be fixable. You can also lose your remaining spots. There is really nothing that can be done about this issue and if you try to mess with it, you are taking the risk of having worse things happen. This has been a buggy module for a long time.

Also, please note the 360 community guidelines (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/gui... ) regarding mature content. The personal profile area is a public area, which can't be changed from that status. Adult images must be placed ONLY in the blog under mature content controls. If you have been reported for adult images in that module or in the 360 background, then Yahoo could have removed those images. This inadvertently could have resulted in those spots being lost as well.

NOTE: The Y!360 team is no longer fixing glitches, so there is no point in contacting them. They are preparing to move the service to a new platform in the 2nd half of 2008, which you can read about here: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360  or by clicking the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space.

  2. Sadly, I don't think Yahoo! Answers or Yahoo! 360 has any interest in fixing the Avatar problems.  They should be working on the new Universal Profile system which will eventually feed the Avatars to Yahoo! Answers.

I think the key is to remove all photos from Yahoo! 360, then upload the one (and only one) you wish to have as your Yahoo! Answers Avatar.  Be sure to set it as Primary, then return to your Answers Profile and select 360 photo as your Avatar again. Do this step even if it's already set, because  I think it "kick-starts" the Answers software to find your new photo.
