When will Yahoo Go be avaialble for the W890i?

I have a Sony Ericsson W890i, most java apps seem to work on it just fine, and it's been out a while now. Surely it just needs testing before the Yahoo folks bless it... does anyone know an ETA?

Or is there any way I can make it pretend to be an equivalent phone to get the download?

If you have the w890i, then it is possible that you can select(W850i/ W880i/) and get this installed.

Try by going to yahoo go Page

If you can install it then great, otherwise you will need to wait and i have a recommendation for an alternate way to get most of the links and programs

Yahoo Go is a great program and you can also access just the "front page'  and get the feel for it, even if it isnt the actual program

Side note:

I have read that these phones need 'data permissions'

here is what you need to do- if needed

Open File Manager from the Menu

Navigate to your application. Per default they are installed in Games or Applications

Highlight Yahoo! Go in the list of installed applications

Choose More by clicking the right softkey

Select Permissions

Set Read user data and Write user data to Never ask
