It depends.  Does your mother have large b*****s or most of your family?  

Are you over or underweight?

Have you gotten your period?

Do you know when your mother got hers?

My personal experience is not very encouraging.  I never really got b***s.  I was super skinny and didn't get a period until I was 15y/o.  Both of my parents were thin and my mother had a small chest (so did my gramma).  I hated being skinny and underdeveloped in school, and got teased by the boys.  I learned to hide it the best I could.  BUT after high school things turned around.  I stayed skinny and all the big boobed girls gained a ton of weight.  So, the boys (who weren't boys anymore) were suddenly interested in me!  

Not much help to you now, I know.  Who knows, you could sprout a couple of melons any day.....but if you don't, don't worry either way you'll be fine.  Strut your stuff no matter what!  And remember to be a kid as long as you can.......it feels slow now, but you'll be an adult before you know it, and these difficult years will be a distant blip in time.

Well this is what I would do sit your mom down and ask her a few of the following questions so it might give you some kinda of timeline to go by ok.

1 mom how old where you when you got your first womans cycle? And if she asks why say what your feeling dont skip around the truth about it ok.

2 How old where you when you bought your first training bra. And again if she asks, I dont know if I need one but could we go look and go from there? Or reword to suit you

3  Do I have to worry about developing late or will I be a early bloomer" develope early".

Now this one depends on like your other answerer said over or under weight, your height, family genes on BOTH sides and if you have had your first menstral cycle yet or not.

And once you do the hormones kick in and things get moving.  But belive me you will go thru some funky changes as you develope, mood swings, cramps, itching in your chest area, clothing you once wore feeling to tight and you have to dress in bulky clothing during "that time" of the month. We all went thru it heck I still have moments like that once in a great while. But honestly if your really worried talk to your mom shes going to be your greatest asset as you go thru these changes. And if your mom isnt available ask and Aunt or grandmother. And if they arent around and your best friends mom is, ask her. But let your dad know before doing this one so she doesnt spring it on him later and freak him out dads will get enough of that during the rest of the teenage yrs..lol

I started to get b***s when I was 13.  If your mom doesn't ask you if you want a bra, but you want one, just mention it to her.  I didn't mention it to my mom right away, and that just left me wondering about so many things she could have explained.  How often do you wash them?  How do you get the right size?  etc.

Not all women(girls) have large b*****s.....i wore sports bras until i was 15 years old because i had nothing to put in a bra!!!! and the only reason i did was because i got prego..and no dont go get prego just to get b*****s because some ppl still dont have them even after having children....and you dont need large breast to be beautiful.....like yourself for who you are....regardless of what *features* you have...or dont have!

Everyone is different. I started getting b***s at 12 and didnt get my period till I was 14. I know girls who got b***s at 9, and some who got periods at 17. Its all different.
