When will a UPS shipping arrive?

My UPS package is shipping using the basic method. It departed Concord, ON, Canada at 12:04 AM eastern this morning. Concord is only 5 hours of driving from my home (I live in Canada), but it is (as of writing this) 8:35 AM here, so the package left 8 hours ago and should be here?!?

Am I right?

If you have a tracking # you can go to UPS on line or phone and ask.

They are happy to tell you on the phone, I have done this.........

All you have to do is tell them where the pkg. is coming from etc.

and where you are at.  They can generally say within an hour, when it

will arrive.

The distance from your home is not really what matters.  The package may not go directly to your house.  It may go to a central depot first.  It could easily take 3 to 5 business days - or even longer.
