When will apple lower the iPod touch price?

I really want a 32g ipod touch but it is pretty expensive right now (i can afford it but i want to save some cash) and also will apple be releasing a ipod touch 2nd generation anytime soon?

you could get a refurbished one from apple, they drop down the price by $100 and 1 free year of warranty or go to craigslist and wait until you find one that says brand new, unopened, sealed, ipod touch. they also drop the price down by 50 or 100
