  1. First ask yourself "Why do I want this truck?"

If the answer is "It would be so cool." or "It would be fun to drive."  Then don't get it, most of your driving will be to work and back or to the store and back.  If you want to take an off road trip on the weekend, then rent a truck for that.

  2. i believe affordable fuel supplies will well out last your new truck. if you are really interested in this subject google congressman Roscoe Bartlett of Maryland. he has the most interesting theory on fossel fuels i have ever heard. i can not vouch for its accuracy however it sounds pretty realistic.

  3. Gasoline prices are not going down.  They will continue to get more and more expensive.

Sometime this year we will hit $4 a gallon.  In another year or two it will be $5 a gallon.  So to fill a 20 gallon tank it will cost you about $100.

That doesn't mean that we will run out of petro.  It will only get more and more expensive.  Petro will also start coming from other sources.  Sources like; oil sands, shale oils, liquified coal, and bio-fuels.
