  1. When we build a good public transportation system and people start using it, decreasing the demand for gas adequately to lower the price.

  2. never is my thought

  3. Why don't we shoot for the moon and ask when it will be 50 cents again. It never trends down. Only up.

  4. Can't tell when the price will drop that far, could happen though. Paid 2.58 today in S.E. Mo., thought that wasn't too bad ?

  5. Most likely never.  If you think $2.50 and up is bad, I just read a news article the other day that said that France's gas prices average over $6 a gallon.  And most of that is just due to the taxes that they put on it which is something like 70% of the total price.  And Americans get outraged at the 33 cents or so (?) that we pay between federal and state combined gas taxes.

But anyways just due to inflation alone, gasoline prices are going to continue to rise so its not likely that they will drop.

  6. When the world ends. Or hey, when the stupid animal people stop being so stupid, realize that the oil mines in Alaska are underground and completely harmless to animals and let us drill. But hey, don't see that happening, now do you? Didn't think so..

Oh, and P.S. Doug...h**l already has frozen over.

  7. Probably not soon -- if ever.  It makes good sense to have a highly efficient car for commuting.

  8. I just paid $2.13 a gallon, you have to know how to get a deal is all.We use our grocery card to get a gas discount, can get a discount of up to .50 cents per fill up.

  9. As soon as we rid the world of tree huggers when we can start drilling in the Arctic and we are allowed to build more refineries.
