When will i be ready for an agent?

i take acting classes in my High School, i take acting classes outside of school, and i am doing community plays, i went to john robert powers...what more do i have to do? and how long is everything going to take?

  1. Have you gone to any AUDITIONS?.. you need to get experience doing auditions and there are open auditions all the time..;. you can subscribe to www.backstage.com and get the current list and information.

    You need to start ACTING like a pro before you go looking for an Agent and to ACT like a pro.. you need to prove that you have a marketable TALENT...


  2. hmmm.  i would think you will be ready for an agent when you dont have to ask that question.   i think you will know when you are reeady.  noone can tell better than yourself.  do you feel you are talented enough to seriously pursue acting?  if so, then get one.  good luck.

  3. When one will take you as a client.  You can probably do that by contacting managers/agents.
