When will i get my adams apple?!?!?

Well as embarrasing as it is to say,im 14 and i dont think i have an adams apple.alot of my friens do,but i dont know if i do or not.its like i feel a bump RIGHT on the top of my throat,but i dont know if thats jus the reg.Bones from birth.can someone help me?

  1. Don't worry about having an adams apple just because some of your friends do. It's all about genetics, some people have a noticeable adams apple and others don't. This doesn't mean someone is more manly than another, it's just your body.

    If your other male family members have noticeable adams apples then there's a good chance you will grow into one, but if not then theirs no need to worry about it.  


  2. You'll probably start noticing it at around age 15 or 16.  Or maybe not until age 18.  It all depends.  It might not stand out as much as your friends'.  

    I don't know about other girls, but I prefer guys that have the kind that's not all in your face, lol.

  3. You may never get one.  My hubby and 2 teenage sons don't have them.  It has nothing to do with your masculinity.  Its kinda like having a big nose or a normal sized one, some have them and some don't.  Be happy that you don't have one, its one obstacle you won't have to be careful of when shaving.
