When will i start to descend?

im just quite sad that after so many years ive not encountered a crash on my landings but why now i do have this even though i do land properly wit a proper speed and speed brakes armed and etc.. but why anyway, any suggestions? say im 28NM away from the active runway at which rate of descent will i execute will i decrease my engines to idle so that i can reach the apprpoach speed of 147KTS>? or what? my problem is i descend too late

start riding a bike alot then you will no the proper time to slow down and also once you master that on a bike take off the brakes but im not responsible for any one killing themselves its just an example

I assume you are talking about some kind of flight simulator.  Sorry to have to tell you you've been had.  Real airplanes handle so differently from computer-based simulators that there is really no comparison.

I do not  know what your altitude is. If it is 4000 ft. and you have 28 m. remaining, and you have 15 min. eta then your descent rate will be about 250 ft per min. maintaining your current airspeed with your throttle.

How is it possible that you fly a plane that has a Appr speed of 147knts and has speed breaks and you don't know when to start decending?
