okay im 13 1/2 and i havent started yet

my mom grandma sister started all when they were 13

i have hair if you know what i mean lol but i shavee and i have b***s too will i start soon?

You will start soon. But, trust me, you don't want to start! It is a mess and you will be constanly worrying about leaks! Enjoy the time you don't have a period, and just incase put a pad in your backpack and purse.

You will start whenever your body has produced enough estrogen and progesterone (the female hormones). But physically, you sound pretty ready to me. My mom had her period when she was 14, and I had mine when I was 11. So I wouldn't worry if you get yours a couple years later. It's not really genetics.

Dont worry about a thing, you aound like you will start soon, and because female members of your family started around your age, the first one cant be too far off. My mum started when she was 14 1/2, but i didnt start until i was nearly 16. It varies, but its best not to worry about it.

It's near impossible to tell. I'm 13 1/2 and I started a few weeks ago. I had no idea. And I don't think it's hereditary when you start.

I started when i was 11 but i have friends who haven't stated yet and their 14. Don't worry about it and trust me, you really don't want to start. I'm on mine right now and it's horrible.

I know how it feels to want to grow up and get on with it, but trust me, be thankful it hasn't started yet.

You'll get it. You don't want it. Its annoying and uncomfortable...if you don't get it before you're like 18,, then you can start to worry.

trust me hon shaving has NOTHING to do with starting, neither do b***s.  i started shaving when i was 11 (hairy armpits are not cute on a 5th grader!!) and i definitely had b***s way before i started...which wasn't until i was 16.  once you start, you'll wish you hadn't.  there's nothing wrong with you, just enjoy the time you have without monthly cramps, bloating, fatigue, etc etc

just be glad that you dont have it! it hurts alot. and it very uncomfortable! i wanted to have mine in 8th grade and everybody was like you are lucky you dont have it yet and now that im in 11th i know what they were talking about!!

your lucky, enjoy it.  once you start you got it FOREVER. im 49 and wonder when i will stop LOL. ok not sure how i wandered into a teen and p*****n room so im leaving lol
