Question:

When will inflation end??

i mean like in how many years??

i know it is a dumb question because you can't estimate it exactly. but have there been any speculations as to approximately when it will stop? i'm not looking for answers like "when bush steps out of the office."

  1. Almost no one really want it to end so there is no reason to assume that will.

    The Fed just wants to keep it "under control" - they are perfectly happy with an inflation rate of 2%/year and would be upset if it went below 1%. They are downright hostile to the idea of no inflation:
