When will it stop growing?

So when will China's economy stop growing at such a rapid pace.In the 1980's people thought Japan was a rising superpower because it's economy was bulstering.But now look at it it's falling to China as the title of "Asia's largest economy".So when will China's economy stop growing.Some say it will be greater than the U.S.'s by 2050.But I think China's economy will stop growing in the next decade.Once America and Japan's economies are back to their former glory.The theory that China will become a economic power will be a thing of the past.I'm pretty sure you know there are times when the U.S. economy doesn't grow so fast.And there is times when it does and unfortunately it's not growing so fast.

Just wait till the next decade things will change.Also I read some answers that said China's economy will be the greatest in 5 or 10 years.Well newsflash it's going to take longer than 10 years for China to have the world's largest economy.So what do you think about this whole predicament going on?And it doesn't really matter to me what happens to the U.S. economy.We'll still be a great country even if we don't have the largest economy.But i'm just tired of hearing only the good things about China's economy and the bad about the U.S.'s.Who knows only time can tell maybe Canada or Mexico will have the largest economy by 2050.

P.S. China and U.S. are going to dominate at Olympics(which have started)!!Go CHINA!!.....and U.S.

Also I think the best way to get our economy back to former glory is to tackle our trade deficit!!

Plus sorry for the title of my question I needed something to get people's attention.

*thinks* Its hard to say.  China's entering a time of some slowdown but it is expected to still grow somewhat.  Its economy is starting to have some problems, but is expected to stay strong.  Yes I realize it sure doesn't feel like their economy is having a hard time, but according to one article below it says that their economy is having problems, but is expected to remain good and strong.    According to The Economist, a publication that is read by many (and is a very smart magazine- its articles are nicely and smartly written), China is expected to continue to have strong GDP growth- albeit somewhat dropping.  

China's growth from what I hear is expected to remain strong.  And it is predicted to surprass US in GDP size in 2035.  However, it has many issues that it MUST address.

1. The huge wage disparity.  Half a billion (according to something I heard while watching the Olympics) people in China are poor and do not have much income.  Many are rich but MANY are also poor.  They also pay low wages to some.  This is a big problem China will need to confront.  

- And the issue of unions.  China doesn't well..is still struggling with this.  They are having more unions now..but some companies don't like this.  Foreign companies are not liking this..so we'll have to see how things go.

2. The conflict of capitalist economy vs. Communist government.  They are two different things.  And I'm guessing there will be problems with it.

3. Pollution.  China has a lot of pollution (and to be fair, so does the US) and they will need to confront this issue too.  Will they use alternate energy and stimulate the economy with more jobs using clean energy making?

Those are three of the biggest issues.

Of course there are other ones.

Including desires for independence from Tibetans and Ughirs.  And complaints over liberties and human rights.

China is a strong country with a strong economy..with a hopeful future and big challenges.

The US will recover too.  In time it will.

I am interested to see how things go.  Its a fascinating time.
