I am 36 weeks and 4 days with my first. The doctor told me wed. that I was 50% effaced. Today I started seeing some of my mucus plug. I have been having some contractions, but not regular. I was wondering if anyone can tell me If they think I will start labor soon?

  1. my friend lost hers and that next night her baby came

  2. mine was a few days before my daughter was born like 2 or 3. good luck with your labour. dont worry its not to bad

  3. Could be hours days or a couple of weeks... Labor happens when it wants ... Good Luck....

  4. Give yourself a few weeks, at least.  Mucus plug isn't a good indicator of labor and braxton hicks contractions are very common at this time.  If you want the baby to come sooner than later, start walking.

  5. Mucas plug April 3, Baby april 17

  6. I also went into labor both times about 10 hours after my mucus plug came out, but this doesnt necessarily mean that you will.  Keep checking, in the mean time, do not take baths and do not have s*x until you see the doctor.  Once your mucus plug is out, its alot easier for bacteria to be introduced.

  7. 24-48 hours

  8. I lost mine at 6am and had my son the next day at 6am.

After I lost my mucus plug my contractions begin..

  9. My friend saw hers the morning proir to her going into labor. can't be too far away!

  10. I lost my mucus plug in the morning and I had my son at 11:30 the next day.  I also have known women that lost it and didn't have there babies for at least a week sometimes two.
