When will music be good again? I'm tired of this c**p coming out now. Nothing mainstream is good?

Even the underground stuff is starting to fall by the wayside. I don't care what it is I just want to listen to something that will:

Inspire me

Make me think

Tug at the heartstrings

make me angry

Make me laugh

Whatever genre doesn't matter to me. Isn't it about time a new genre of music gets developed? I guess they got emo, but I aint feeling that.

What the h**l man, is not just a formula you stupid record labels you also need to have something with substance!!

In the mainstream market you still have TRUE artists like norah jones who are in it for the art

I often search unknowns on myspace and sites like that and once in a blue moon youll find good artists like shane mack, gilbert lam etc...

i agree that 99% of music today is c**p  just c**p but if you search hard enough you'll find some true gems

Its an extreme long shot, but there is a  slim chance of good bands to come. I completely hear you, the music today sucks beyond belief.

What the f*ck? You are out of your mind, little nino.. either that or you are an arrogant fool.

Maybe you only listen to top 40 or mtv or the popular radio station because there are literally thousands of bands, musicians, artists out there with all of the above to offer

evidently, you are not looking hard enough if you are complaining about musical choices

websites, mix cds, social communities, local bands, concerts, festivals

you need to have more of an open mind, emo is not the only genre out there

I agree, this happens from time to time and then a group comes around and changes music and takes it to the next level
