When will my baby pull up and start to stand?

My son is 9 and a half months old, he does an army crawl and gets on his knees and hands and rocks. He wont stand though. If we try to make him stand on his legs he laughs at us and pulls his legs up and refusses. He will on occasion stand if we hold him next to the sofa but that's it. In his crib, he will pull his bumper pad down to look out and try to touch the dog but he isn't standing yet and I am worried. Do you think it's a problem?
