When will my cheque register in my bank account??

Helloooo,

I would like to know which day my cheque will go through therefore bringing me enough mulah to survive.

It went in last Friday (22nd) 3.42PM and now it is the Wednesday the 27th... I have never got a cheque in my life so....

Depends on the type of check but they usually take between 3 - 5 days.

While your in the bank tell them you would like to register for online banking, that way youll be able to use your banks secure website to view your bank account online. So then in future when you get a cheque you wont have to go to the bank or bank machine to know when its cleared, you can just log online.

P.S. Some payrole cheques clear straight away even when the bank tells you 3-5 days, your money could well be there right now.
