When will my fillings harden?

Well, I went to the dentist today, and I got the silver filling for a back molar. Mainly because it's so far back there and it's better to get silver anyway. Then, on tuesday I have a cavity on my front tooth that will be the color of my tooth. But, i just got the filling today at 12, and I've been eating. It still isn't hard.... is this bad?

try not to chew on that side where you had the silver filling. it takes about 24 hrs. for it to harden.

the white filling hardens right away because it is cured by a light.

Hmm... well it SHOULD be alright.

If something goes wrong, sue the dentist. :D
