When will my raspberry canes get flowers??

When will my raspberry canes get flowers??

The second-year plants are already done fruiting, but the 1st-year ones are about 6' high and no flowers. What is up this year? We had a cold spring but the 2nd-year plants did fine. 1st-year canes always produce fruit as long as I've had these. What did I do wrong?? :( lol

Oh yeah I'm in the pacific NW if that matters :P

might not have been anything that you did or didn't do, it may have not been cold enough for them.  But I though cane fruit usually didn't produce the first year any way.

were these volunteer canes or did you purchase them?
