When will my wisdom teeth extraction holes stop bleeding

i had my wisdom teeth taken out this morning at 10 and now it is about three. they are still bleeding a lot and i cant seem to swallow my spit. i toke a vicodine 2 hours ago and i am still in quite a lot of pain. i am 15 years old and had all 4 taken out, i was put under twilight sleep and i have tmj if that mattters. so when will the bleeding stop

It is normal to bleed for up to 24 hours.

For the pain, try taking 1 Vicodin plus 3 Motrins.

I'm 15 too and had four of my wisdom teeth pulled out last Thursday and that's what I'm on. I haven't experienced any pain yet.

that is normal, as long as the bleeding is minimal.  It may be a day or more before it stops entirely.  But if you are concerned, you should call your dentist.
