  1. NEVER   The earth is recycling all fossil fuels ,and has been for millions of years. The plants with photosynthesis recycle our air by Removing the CO2 and giving us back the O2 ,this is also the first step in the recycling of our fossil fuels. The plants hold on to the C and it is in the leaves,so if u eat u gain energy from it. The leaves fall off and wash down the river to the delta where it deteriates into GAS ,OIL, and Coal after a time.

  2. In some places the natural gas may never run out.  In our part of the country there is more natural gas than can be used.

  3. The same time that oil runs our, which is to say never.

  4. The theory of fossil fuels does not adequately explain the methane hydrate deposits.  Natural gas is methane.  There are simply too many deposits.  The methane almost certainly is from outgassing of methane from the original accretion of the earth.  It is interesting how all methane on earth is attributed to fossils yet methane lakes on Titan are not.  This is a good example where tired old theories have not kept up with the available facts and I am definitely in the minority with geologists.  The answer either way is that we will never run out.  If it becomes too costly to extract when the reserves are nearly depleted, we will move on to something else.  At present rates it will certainly be thousands of years from now.  When you hear someone predict that we are running out soon, that just indicates they don't know what they are talking about.
