Question:

When will our troops come home from Iraq?

I voted for GWB twice and a strong supporter of his policies. When I voted for him I was in the impression that this was not going to take a long time and that the mission was accomplished. Now we are 5 + years in this thingy.

I understand that we were attacked on 9/11 and it is justifiable but seems its taking longer than normal I guess.

God Bless America

  1. I think US troops will be home in the next few year from what i have heard , they will have to see how it goes in iraq , British troops will most likely be picking up the pieces ,- that's the way it looks anyway , but Iraq must be fairly  stable first

  2. yes bushes never do give good protection for homecoming troops.

the prez. candidates are different on when they will come back.

obama says 6 months or something like that and the other mccain says until we win or something

  3. Troops levels have been dropping since January.  The last should be pulled out by 2011.

  4. It depends on the future president. Barack opposed ira from the start, and is saying he will take them home a s soon as possible, whereas John Mccain speaks of keeping them there for years to come, dying.

  5. our troops will come home, but not under bush.

  6. If either McCain or Obama be president they will bring the troops home by later next year in 2009 or 2010.

  7. If Barack "Future President" Obama is elected, soon.

If John "Wrinkly White-Haired Dude" McCain, never.

  8. When the war is finished and that will only happen if we win so properbly never my cousins in the war in iraq hes american but im british>><<-

  9. TALK EASY THAN DONE for any smart politicians.

  10. Longer than normal?

Just what is the norm for bloodshed and war in the middle east anyway?

last I checked it has been going on for centuries, and now we are right in the middle.

Supporting it, then crying about it taking too long, is like jamming a stick into a beehive, and standing there crying about getting stung.

  11. As long as the US is dependent on foreign oil, there will be American boots on the ground at the jugular vein of the WORLD's economy no matter who the president is.  As usual, the world benefits from the deployment of American troops but, it remains fashionable to complain about it so, complain they will, regardless of the reality.
