When will "YAHOO!" clamp down on its message forums??

Just visit any discussion forum, its repleit with offensive & sick posts 99.9% of the time. sure you can try to ignor it but its almost impossible. And further more I cant understand why yahoo even has such discussion forums, its just a place for trolls to "party" and is a disgrace..

I reported a "cross between a donkey and a horse" who had a bunch of profanity and slander in their post.  Today, I got a reply from the administrators thanking me for reporting it.

Never. They basically gave up on them and let the chaos reign. The best you can do is turn the profanity filter on.

It's not much different here, all they really need to do is give us user filters.

lol! I know what you mean. The problem is they don't screen anyone before they become members of Y!Answers. That's the whole reason there are so many trolls and abusers on here. I am a member of another group, and we never have problems, because the members are properly screened. If you accept just anybody, then you'll have so many problems, and your site will become out of control. See what I mean? That's exactly what's going on here, and they deserve it, because all they want are new members to up their numbers. They don't care about the quality of members that are on here, because it is a joke.
