  1. While they continue to get paid, they are likely to bother? It is a station which has outlived its natural life and is beyond redemption - and there's nothing we can do about it....

  2. Why are you bothered? Can't you change yours?

  3. I do night shift and finish at 7am, driving the 45 mins home and laughing all the way is all down to Chris Moyles!!

Usually listen to Smooth FM or LBC but tuned in to radio 1 by mistake one day and am happy I did!

  4. I think you have reached the magical age where Radio2  starts to sound interesting.

Every year the listening figures for Radio 2 come out way above Radio1. The BBC seem to employ loads of middle aged DJs who sound like 14 year-olds. Is that chap who is clearly white but talks with a Jamaican accent still around? He should be put out to pasture. Chris Moyles is simply obnoxious. He makes a living from being rude.

It would seem that the target audience is in the 13 to 14 year range, the BBc don't seem to realise that the target audience is at school for most of the day.

  5. I'm tuned to R.1 all the time. I only turn the radio on to listen to the shows I like. So that banished your theory.

  6. I can't stand Radio 1 - I hate all of the music they play, I would much rather listen to Virgin or Radio 4 instead!

  7. I don't listen to it, I'm too old, lol.

  8. never they are thick and will just keep broadcasting

    regards x kitti x

  9. Radio 1 is rubbish

  10. huh
