When will recruitment for mar missions begin?

Question

i really dreamed of going to the moon in 2020, i just turned 16 this weekend and i really wanted to get there at 28,i mean i already started college and all ...but then i got into this page and it said the recruitment was over.

i want to know then when i am supposed to start applying so i can go to mars atleast and the same thing doesnt happen to me again

Join the air force! Most astronauts have thousands upon thousands of hours in fighters before they are chosen. And also make sure you do extremely well in Maths, take advanced maths too...and also a lot of luck is good too.

This is a joke right? If it's not... Umm... if you want to go to Mars, you're gonna have to become a professional astronaut with years of training and its not gonna happen.
