Recently, at the nanoscale, scientists bended light . If they can do this on a much bigger scale then they can make humans and vehicles invisible to the human eye. When will scientists be able to make a human invisible?

  1. great qustion they can do it was done 2 years ago in Duke unveristy

now the poctogone are smart can make any thing invisible so haryry potter watch out but there is a catch the person invisible have to see

so you see floting two eye balls

but there geting there but you want have it the shouldiers will

like water going around a rock we can do it and we did it

GOI ON YOUTUBE.COM TYPE DR. MICHIO KAKU AND YOU WILL FOUND OUT .

  2. Sooner than you might think.

This article just came out today.

  3. It's true that scientist will do everything to invent more, and much better than some of inventions in the field of science. But,in the case of invisibility,we have no capability to do it as a human.Things can be change and can be invented as great as you want it to be,but in the human body we have no right to do things that will damage,or if maybe not why can't we just be "contented"of what we had. And by the way, scientists were also human beings. So,it's impossible that scientists can be able to make human being invisible.

  4. It does sound unlikely but never say never. Two decades ago do you think people thought that it would be possible to store all their favorite songs on a mobile phone the size of a playing card? I think it would be extremely hard, more than anything to find a practical way of doing it, but yeah, i think it could be possible one day.

  5. I honestly don't see that happening, like the previous answer stated with bending the light around moving objects.

  6. never. if they can alter the refractive indexes of human beings, it is possible. but we cant change our refractive indexes. so invisible man is a pure myth.

  7. the best i think we can do is wait and wait and wait and wait and SEE!!!!!!!

  8. Probably never. Bending light around moving objects is asking too much.

  9. if they suceed, can I use it on my kids?

No, really, this is interesting, I had never heard of anyone working on something like this. It will unbelievable if and when it happens.

  10. To the blind, everyone is invisible.  I am not being a smarta$$ when I say that, but trying to illustrate a point.  Invisibility is a relative term to mean present, but unseen and undetected.  I can imagine many possible paths to accomplish this.  It has been done with camouflage for about as long as humans have existed, not to mention simply hiding.  But who is to say that we won't someday be able to manipulate light for this purpose?    How about another tack entirely: Manipulate the mind of the observer. - Illusionists do this everyday with a bag of tricks that includes hypnosis.  Think how far this may go with research and technology.  If you want an amazing example of invisibility of the mind, watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47LCLoidJ...
