When will somebody make a decent set of salad tongs?

I say you should invent some. Do you know how many toasters have been designed because people aren't satisfied with the ones they already have? I've seen a laminator one, one that lets you write a message on a white board on the top of the toaster and it burns the message onto the toast for you, one that burns the weather on your toast!!

If they can do that then I'm sure you can make a decent pair of salad tongs, you would make a KILLING! I know I would buy about 7 pairs to give out as gifts to my family. Maybe the actual design is wrong. I think what you need is a large stick that you place into the salad, and then there is a button on the side you press and two flaps come up so it picks up the vegetables from the bottom, then you can bring them to the top.

That way you won't bruise the salad as badly. and your avocado wont look like mush.... I hope that helps

When dreams come true.. The wooden ones break... The plastic ones stain (and then break)... I'm still waiting for a miracle.. Until then I'll continue using my two forks!!

I have a pair of plastic "salad hands", I bought them at walmart years ago and I love them.  I've seen them in wood which is next on my list.  The one piece tongs don't hold up so well anymore.
