  1. WHEN GLOBAL WARMING IS NO MORE!!!!

  2. The end of next week it is to get in the upper 80's around PA/southwest PA

  3. Actually, there is a distinct possibility that the answer is "not for a very long time".

Currently the sun is sunspot free... http://wattsupwiththat.wordpress.com/200...

and based upon several hundred years of observation this is not a good thing.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maunder_min...

There is no scientific dispute that the sunspots run in cycles... periods of more sunspots followed by periods of fewere sunspots. We know this becuase people have been looking at sunspots for several hundred years.

We also know that there is a strong corolation between sunspot activity and global temperature here on Earth.   We don't have data explaining a causal relationship...only a theory...but it appears that the amount of heat the sun puts out drops when the sunspots go away.

Realize that the people who do the global warming models don't account for this. They simply assume that the amount of heat from the Sun is a constant. (Actually there are a lot of problems with their models, but that is a side issue.)

So, if we are in another sunspot cycle (like the Dalton Minimum or the Marder Minimum) then it is entirely possible that things WON'T "stop being colder than normal" for quite a long time.
