10 years ago Michael Jordan was earning 36 million. Now players can't get more than 20 million. it's no wonder James, and Kobe will leave for 50 million.

  1. two years

  2. NBA players are over paid if you ask me, infact I think all sports players are over paid.  Doctors and lawyers who spend so much of their life in school can't even dream of making that kind of money !  It seems that now a days you either have to be good in sports or be willing to pose nude or do a s*x tape in order to make good money.  The world sucks.

  3. When they go senile and start listening to morons who like to blow their knee-jerk reaction out of proportion.

  4. You know, once the NBA loses a superstar, they will lift the salary cap. It's almost embarassing losing top players to Europe.

Hey knowitall, who do you think signs the players paychecks? Definately not p**n stars. To be a doctor is to be a humanitarian, it shouldn't be about making money. You want to make a lot of money, you have to be business-oriented or extremely talented at what you do. The world must suck if you have no ambition and dedication because nothing will ever just fall in your lap.

  5. Nope! BY BY LEBRON!

  6. well idc who u are 50 mill is a lot of money!! nd then the nba hasnt really lost talent yet, well childress but he's a bum anyways!! nd brandon jennings went to go play ball overseas instead of goin to college but u already kno as soon as he can be in the draft he is goin to the nba! nd plus if players like lebron nd kobe wanna go over there the be richer but they wont be the man! bcuz if u wanna be the MAN u have to be in the nba! also with the shoe contracts and all these other things they dont needa get a extra 30 mill in europe, nd for lebron if he does opt out deal  nd goes to a bigger market his deal automatically goes from 100 mill to 200 mill... so its not like the big time players needa go overseas

  7. Getting rid of the salary cap would be ridiculous. It would create a   monopoly among the teams who have the most money to spend. They haven't lost any major talent, and its unlikely the big name superstars will leave while they are still in their prime.

  8. i think they salary cap should remain or it will be like baseball when a few select teams have all the talent and the sport get boring. i think the players should have more integrity. they should play for their country they are making enough as it is but that is neva gonna happen

  9. no. but players want that.
